DISNEY UPDATE number 4
We got to Animal Kingdom at about 8:30, and there were quite a bit of people waiting to go in. We managed to skip about 70% of them when they opened a new line...lol. We rushed to Everest as soon as the park opened...awesome ride! The best rollercoaster Disney has, I think. Very short, relatively, but a very cool ride. The line to go inside, was soooo well decorated. Then we went on the Kali River Rapids...I got pretty wet, but Krystal got SOAKED...lol....like, EVERYTHING. We took the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch...which was ok, but FREEZING which sucked with our cold wet clothes...then did some of the little nature/animal walk things they had. The aviaries were very cool. The Kilimanjaro Safari was very cool this time, the animals were actually out. We then had lunch...I had a chicken parm sandwich with breadsticks that was really good. Then saw the Bug's Life show, walked around a bit, then left.
Disney's Hollywood Studios...was PACKED...as always, because it's a very small park. It kinda sucked that all the rides had a huge wait time...Rock N Roller Coaster was 2 hours....the new Toy Story ride was 140 minutes....wtf! We went on the Great Movie Ride, the Tower Of Terror, and The Muppets 3D thing. We attempted a few other things but got sick of waiting in line, or got rained out (backstage tour stopped running because of rain, and the sports car stunt show that i was really excited to see....well, we waiting an hour in line, and it ended up getting cancelled, with no more shows).
At this point we were kinda in a bad mood, and sick of the heat and rain and people, so we left and went back to EPCOT. Heh....Mexico again, and Japan. I wanted to do Test Track but it was closed because of the rain. Then we left and went to the Magic Kingdom area, to see the hotels. Grand Floridian is nice but just very...expensive looking...lol. And I FINALLY got to see the Comtemporary from more than just the Monorail! It's actually pretty cool. Looks like a really fancy cruise ship from the inside. Then we went back to the hotel and packed, and slept, and woke up the next morning, and drove straight no stops....I came home, bathed, ate, and went right to work. Woo!

Disney Update number 3
So instead of doing another "wake up at the asscrack of dawn to open the park" we slept in a bit, and went to the Magic Kingdom around 10. Did Mickey's Toontown Fair. Then Peter Pan (best fucking ride in that section!). We got fast passes for Big thunder Mountain (which we ended up not doing seeing as though the Fast Pass line went outside the ride....lol). We had lunch at Pinnochio, then went on the Jungle Cruise. The guy leading it was kinda funny...almost felt like I was in Superbad....lol.
We went over to Epcot (took the monorail over, another first for me), and went to Mexico again, and saw the awesome 360degree China movie which was sweet. Then we went back to the hotel, freshened up, had some Panera, and back to the park.
We waited a bit for the 9:00 parade, but decided to leave. We went on Space Mountain....super long ass line, but I hear the are "remodeling" it soon, and since Disney is REALLY hit or miss with these new ride versions, I figured one last ride was in order. Oh yea, and we went on that TRAVESTY of a ride that was "Stich's Great Escape" which is where the alien thing was before....my god, what a terrible and boring ride. Carousel Of Progress was a cheesy and amazing as ever.
I still have yet to ride the Astro Orbiter.
There was a 3D show called PhilharMagic, where the Lion King show used to be....kinda cute. Oh and who could forget the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse!
After all this excitement, we went home a bit early....park closed at 12 but we left early.
Todaaaaaaay....is Animal Kingdom soon, and then MGM...wait, that's not what it's called anymore....Disney HOLLYWOOD Studios! |

the book thing The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. 1) Look at the list and bold those you have read. 2) Italicize those you intend to read. 3) Underline the books you LOVE. 4) Strike out the books you have no intention of ever reading, or were forced to read at school and hated. 5) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-) |

Disney update #2
Man, am i tired or what...I hadn't planned to go to the Magic Kingdom til tomorrow but..well, I'll get to that.
After relaxing for a bit, we passed by Subway so my fat ass could get some food, then went back to Epcot. We rode on Spaceship Earth (almost unchanged except for a cool little part at the end), then made our way to the World Showcase. As always, Mexico and Japan were the standouts...I really don't know why I keep riding that terrible Norway ride...lol. It almost started to storm...it def rained a bit, but nothing major.
As we were leaving Epcot, I'm about to go through the turnstile when I hear Mickey say "Oh wouldn't you like to take a picture with..." and I turn around because it was said in a weird manner, and I see some weird huge lady that totally was NOT Mickey talking...and looked at Krystal who had also had the same thing happen, and we both busted out laughing for about 20 minutes....lol. We were going to take the Monorail to Disney since I'd never done that, but the guy said it closed at 10:30 (which was before Magic Kingdom itself closed)....which was a fucking LIE....lol...so we moved the car to the Magic Kingdom.
We walked in, and it was a MESS of people....everyone all over the place, no flow, and it was raining and Krystal was hungry and dying so....we ended up getting some food (I never thought i'd say I was sick of burgers but I think this did it lol). Went on Pirates Of The Caribbean....everyone said they had totally changed it, and had taken out the song...but it was there, so I don't know if they added it back later on. Went on It's a Small World....then Snow White....then the new Pooh ride I had never been on. Doesn't beat Mr. Toad's Wild ride but, it's a suitable replacement. The "upgrade" to the Haunted Mansion was well done...not much really was changed, but some parts look newer.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority kicked ass, as always....and we rushed into Buzz Lightyear before making a mad dash through the insane crowds, as the fireworks were finishing up...and managed to exit the park before the 32432432 people that were there started to leave....SCORE!
That Mission Space ride, totally fucked both of us up though...we've been super dizzy and shitty feeling all day! So, since we did some MK today, I think we shall enjoy some late sleepage tomorrow morning and do the rest of MK at a nice slow place....even with the insane crowds that are sure to be there. |

see ya later Philadelphia! So Jeremy and I have less than two days left in Philadelphia. We are pretty much all packed up. It's weird leaving... but we are definitely excited! We went to the ritz today and saw Surfwise. I highly recommend it! It got both of us even more excited about our decision to give up most of what we have to go adventure. Well anyways, theres really not much to report, I just want to make sure i update this. But heres our upcoming schedule..... Tomorrow- finish up packing, maybe go for a ride, with murph. Lay out and enjoy our last day in philly. Wednesday- Get the moving truck, pack it all up. Clean the apartment. Run up to the salon to say bye to everyone. Nap maybe (hopefully) then lave late at night for New Hampshire. Thursday- We should be in Laconia, Nh by early morning. Unpack the truck, get settled, then bring the truck to concord. Then back to Laconia to see the fam. and continue to settle in. Friday- Grocery shopping and getting ready for the BBQ on saturday. Disney Update #1
So we got up early this morning, went to Walgreens to get some cereal, and made our way to Epcot suppper early. Get to the will call window to get our tickets and....Krystal left her ID at the hotel, so we couldn't get the FLORIDA RESIDENT tickets...lol...after 20 minutes they figured out a temporary solution, and we got in line. We went to Soarin first....very cool ride. Then went on the Land ride....great as always. After we went to The Seas With Nemo....my fucking god, they RUINED the Living Seas....the nemo ride...minus the last part, was absolutely boring...and they fucking got rid of the "elevators" that took you "underwater"!!!! WHAT THE FUCK.....the last part seemed lamer, as well.
Journey Into Imagination was ok....the original Figment ride was super corny and lame...but awesome IN that...and much better than the current incarnation. Honey I shrunk The Audience was alright...the 3D effect is greatly diminished if you are sitting on the far left side, as we were....lol. The shooting water fountains outside, weren't on!! Grrr...Innoventions was kinda lame...I don't remember if that's how it was before or not. We ate lunch at the Electric Umbrella, got our fast pass for Mission Earth, and went to Ellen's Energy Adventure. Good ride.
Mission Mars...or whatever it's called...it's short, but very cool. Simulates the whole "going to mars" gravitational pull thing pretty well...at least it seemed it. Only thing...it made me BEYOND dizzy. I was already super dizzy, 10 seconds into the ride...lol....and they tell you to NOT close your eyes or look left or right, because it'll make it worse....haha oh well.
After that, we were both so dizzy and shitty feeling...and it was so digustingly hot out...that we decided to come back to the hotel for a bit. I immediately jumped in the pool...and let me tell you, it was incredible...I felt a million times better right away. Now we're headed off to get me a snack and head back to finish up Epcot, and maybe Magic Kingdom tonight....wooo!!!! |

tonights day Do you have any idea how sad my head feels, to know that this hat exists and will never be on my head? I have a friendship crush on Lewis Black. I think this means that i want to be stuck in Los Angeles traffic with him, for a little 'laugh out loud'ing. Lukas drove his lone self down to Maryland tonight, while i spend my weekend trying to make something out of this room. I asked him to call me for every bridge he goes over. While i wait for these moments, i will continue to eat my 30 dollar delivery dinner, let my dog lick my knee for another 10 minutes, watch documentaries on sword smiths and samurai fighting schools, and talking about hats like tragic events. From one day to the next, my couch life has gone from my boyfriend writing me songs and making out with me to webby barking at a wall and making out with me. |

CARNIVAL FACE okay, so Adrian and I have reconciled.. .. and since I created the proposal, most of the groundwork and wording, planning, flyer work, etc.. everything this party was founded on.. pretty much 99.9% of the party, I am very happy to be a part of it again. So, please go to this event and represent. Send Sophia and the Ruff kids a signal that Orlando should be on the map. More than anything, I am proud that Carnival is doing something more than just being a party, It is putting ORLANDO on the map and opening it up for respected National Acts and quality dj's and just all around growth and potential to improve general life. I love my O-town. so please please go to this. even if you live in Miami and have to drive. It's free if you send me your name + number of guests. Love Greggor |

Identity theft is very real of all the companies, I have spent the most money/aggrevation on.. It is without a doubt t-mobile. Of all the phones in the world, I have broken, lost or damaged atleast 15 of them (not exaggerating).. I'm actually thinking it's higher than that..T-mobile has been the most expensive... and after being cancelled by the phone insurance company for claiming "too much", it's starting to take a very large chunk out of my bank account. Every bloody blackberry at 6hundred dollars a piece with no room for a phone discount/2year contract extension upgrade left, = hundreds and hundres of dollars
The more frustrating part is that now I have to deal with some identity theft bullshit because of this crazy loon I was staying with in NYC, who started opening up social sec. benefits and bank accounts in my name... Not only do I have 3 agencies working on this that are no closer to solving anything than as much as I'm really allowed to say.. but I had to get a NEW PHONE!!!.. Again!! and the blackberry is still working!!! because the nutty british woman also happened to call into my t-mobile account and had them forward/duplicate all my text messages and installed some software on my blackberry that gave her access to it. So now I'm back to the good ol sidekick LX. Atleast, this phone is not a mindfuck like the blackberry and maybe it IS time to take a step back to the middle ages because if you don't have a degree in computer programming, I fear you will not surivive the future. the fuckin british!!!
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Here's to being with T-MOOOOOOBILE till 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and overages and customer support people that all seem to have been the victims of identity theft. "oh, I know, that happened to me toooo!!".. I'm starting to think the people at t-mobile are just really fucking retarded, or they're just taking the piss out of me. |

the radiation is making me crazy. I seem to have the weirdest fucking dreams. all the time.
Anyway, for some reason everytime I dream, I end up having different events occur in the same places with the same characters. Last night I dreamed that I was at a gas station with my brother and he was outside putting gas in the car and then i looked over and there was this white station wagon with none other than the crazy lady from new jersey, who in reality had kidnapped me and took me to new jersey with her when I was 18/19yrs old after I had just gotten out of the psych ward (where she met me) for trying to kill myself. Anyway, she was in the station wagon and next thing I know, i'm in the back seat of my brother's car and she looks at me and I sheepishly smile back at her and in my head im like "oh fuck"... so I move my head behind the head board thing that is on the driver's seat and try to hide half my face from being seen hoping she won't recognize me.. but that doesn't work and she DOES recognize me. She then whispers something to her crazy boyfriend Robert, in the passenger seat who gets out of the car and starts to walk over to the one I'm in. He then sticks his head inside the open front door 2 feet from my brother and my brother is like "what are you doing?" and then I'm like trying to cover my face with my right hand and I'm telling my brother.. "come here.. come here", motioning that I need to tell him a secret and I start whispering that that's vikki and her crazy bf but before I can do that.. Vicki (crazy lady still in the car) starts her car and starts driving up to us. My brother then takes the gas pump out of his car and aims it at her car and stars soaking her through her open window in gasoline.. as she drives past. I run into the gas station convenience store and go to the counter where.. low and behold it's the sarcastic John Waters in a blueish black military Dior looking suit but more playful. He's the clerk, who works at the gas station and he is standing on the outside of the counter(where the customers stand) reading the newspaper and he sees me and he's like.. with no expression or no emotion.. "what can I get you this time"?.. and turns and starts walking to the back corner where he goes through a door and while he's walking, I say "oh, nothing, just a pack of camel number 9's" and then he gets to the front of the counter on the inside and then I wake up.
what in the hell? why am I thinking about Vikki? for starters and WHY is John Waters a recurring gas station clerk in all my dreams?? maybe it's because when I met him in NYC with Miss Guy and Rufus Wainright when I was doing the factory, I had no idea who he was, then I saw the movie pink flamingos and saw a thing on bravo where he talked about his art. Maybe I'm secretly fascinated with him.. but honestly, what is wrong with me. He's so nyar nyar.. eh, I am so confused. I'm starting to think.. maybe I just like ugly things and ugly people and have a willingness to explore the nasty?.. I don't know, but that's really not attractive but what does one do when they realize this?
ahhh.. who's excited for the olympics? lots of hot boys!!! I keep watching this new show or maybe it's old.. a wrestling show.. or kickboxing show where the 2 hot guys always end up with one on the floor with on his back and the other guy holding him down but like.. with his crotch all up against the other guy's butt. It's really the closest thing to porn on tv here. maybe it will come to America because damn, is it lovely. whoooosh |
